MUSCAT: Under the auspices of Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, the Directorate-General of Education in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate organised an education exhibition titled ‘change occurs.’

The exhibition took place at the ministry’s headquarters last Thursday. The exhibition was held in line with the beginning of implementing Cambridge chains in maths and science for grades 1-4.

The exhibition aimed to encourage the production of teaching means that aid teachers to achieve the objectives of the new curriculum and to facilitate the acquisition of 21st century skills for students.

The exhibition also included educational texts converted to educational means that serve the teaching of science and mathematics.

The exhibition also displayed electronic means produced by schools and a range of modern applications such as enhanced reality and the code programme.

In addition, the exhibition highlighted a variety of educational environments, such as a special science lab for the chain curriculum initiated by Ibra School for Basic Education.

In this lab, teachers present science classes using teaching aids and scientific experiments.
