By Staff Reporter — MUSCAT: Jan 3: The 75-million Duqm Permanent Accommodation for Contractors (PAC) project will be completed in the first quarter of 2017, the Duqm Voice said in its official tweet. A joint initiative by the Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZAD) and Renaissance Services, the project will include an entertaining club, residences, restaurant and mosque. The project will offer modern staff residences for the comfort and convenience of workers, which will include accommodation, a mosque, medical clinics and retail outlets and will be able to accommodate more than 16,000 employees. Duqm PAC’s permanent accommodation will offer higher quality than traditional temporary portacabins at competitive costs through economies of scale. The fully-developed complex will be also maintained and operated by Renaissance, the company officials said earlier. The room rates will range from RO4.620 per day (Sharing) to RO9.240. There will be higher end ranges too, the company officials said earlier.
