Indicating towards a change in the weather, Oman Meteorology has predicted that there are chances of trough of low pressure over the Sultanate. This unstable weather conditions is expected to begin from December 15 and may continue for several days with chances of rain.
An official at the met office told the Observer that temperatures will drop by two degrees after passing of this trough and rains are expected during the low pressure period starting from Mussandam on Friday and later in Batinah and Muscat governorates.
Motorists and fishermen have been urged to follow weather updates and people have told to be careful while crossing wadis during this period.
