MUSCAT, Oct 23 - The temperatures in Oman are expected drop by one to two degrees in the first week of November, according to an official at Oman Meteorology. Speaking to the Observer, he said that currently we are in the transition period of moving from summer to winter due to which there is a possibility of unstable weather conditions. The official said no possibility of rains in the coming weeks but it is difficult to predict for a period more than a week. He did not rule the possibility of sporadic rains from next month.

Astronomically, he said the winter should set from December 23 but from the climate perspective the weather should change from next month.

For tomorrow, Oman Meteorology said there will be mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of clouds developing over Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon, and the chance of low level clouds or fog patches late night to early morning along parts of the Oman sea and Arabian sea coastal areas.
