Don’t blame yourself for wrong decision

Have you ever made decision you have regretted later? Perhaps, most of us have experienced this; it’s frustrating and hard to feel you made a wrong or displeasing decision.

As a matter of fact, it is even more maddening when it comes to making up your mind on money or job. Don’t you worry, it is a normal feeling and thought we all get, especially when not sure of our decision.

When you don’t give yourself enough time to make up your mind, you definitely get that feeling. It is, of course, very unpleasant and remains in our minds. However, it helps us to recall things we have made or review a decision taken some time ago in a hurry or unplanned. With such thinking, you realise your mistakes from which you learn.

They might be hard and intolerable experiences, yet with mistakes come the learning lessons. We learn things from our mistakes, so we can set things right the next time when we take a decision.

Hence, don’t blame yourself for making an undesirable decision for it could be the right one. And you might realise that sometime later.

After each experience you come across in your life, there is a lesson behind it which you might not discover on the spot. Yet, it happens for your own good. You get the message sooner or later, unless you regard it as a curse and failure, just as some people do when they get into trouble. However, it shouldn’t be the case. All that happens is beyond our control.

The way in which you perceive and look at things counts to get the right decision. There is nothing called a dead end or an unsolved problem. Think positively and believe in the possibility of getting things fixed the way you like. Problems are only opportunities with thorns on them. Opportunities do not come with their values stamped upon them.

Believe it or not, in every challenge we face in our day-to-day life, there is a lesson to be learned and a blessing behind it. There are challenges from the Almighty Allah to test our patience. Believe in Him. He is always there with us as life gets harder and complicated. Trust that Allah is bestowing people for their own good at certain times.

Always remember life is an experience and every day is an opportunity to make a new, happy ending. Live for the moment. Have some hope, which is the last to be ever lost in life.

As Helen Keller, American creative author, said: “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”

Every test in our life makes us bitter or better, every problem comes to break or make us. The choice is ours, whether we become victims or victors. Sometimes, you just need to be more positive and roll the dice to make things come the way you wish.

In some circumstances, fate is the only justification we attribute to whatever happens to us. True, it is fate that we always relate things to, but it depends on the way we look at things. Our beliefs and confidence are behind our attitude, perception of life and ultimately the decisions we make.

Someday you will look back and understand why it all happened the way it did. Just exhale the past and inhale the future, so you can learn from past experiences.
