MUSCAT: The Dhofar Municipality has bagged the City Beautification Award at the 13th edition of the Arab Towns Organization Awards which was held in Doha, Qatar, at a meeting presided over by Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi, Minister of Municipality and Environment of Qatar.
The award features categories of architectural awards (architectural project award, architectural heritage award, architectural engineer award) besides the greening and beautification of cities including City Greening and City Beautification Award. The Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi , and Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization Ahmed Hamad al Sabeeh honoured the 14 Arab cities that have won architectural, greenhouses and city beautification awards.
