NIZWA, March 5 -
A Design Club exhibition opened in the design department of the Faculty of Applied Science in Nizwa.
The event was held under the auspices of Dr Sharifa bint Abdullah al Mahrooqiyah, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs Support. Academic staff and academic support members, administrative and college students.
The exhibition was organised to showcase the creativity of students in the field of design. It consisted of several pillars. The first pillar was devoted to introducing the sub-design majors namely graphic design, multimedia design and interior design.
The event has a corner where the members have displayed the objectives of the design exhibition.
Said bin Abdullah al Nahawi, CEO of Al Thuluth Company, and a trainer at the Ministry of Education, said: “I would like to thank all for the creativity I have seen in the three design majors. I was impressed by the work done in all areas. What caught my attention is the idea first, as well as the techniques of implementing these ideas and making nature as a source of inspiration.”
