Cultural Club holds panel discussion today

MUSCAT: A panel discussion titled ‘Arabian Gulf Region in Light of Regional Changes’, organised by the Cultural Club in cooperation with the Gulf Studies Centre at Qatar University begins today at the Cultural Club. The panel discusses four themes namely the Economic Changes and Their Effect on the Arabian Gulf Region, the Regional Changes and Their Social and Development Effects on the Arabian Gulf Region, the Political Changes and Their Effect on the Strategic Balance in the Arabian Gulf Region and the Challenges of Cultural Work in the Arabian Gulf Region.

The panel discussion comes in a bid to enhance cooperation between the Culture Club in Oman and cultural centres at the other states. Participants in the panel discussions include Dr Abdullah Ba Aboud, Dr Baqir al Najjar, Dr Khalid al Haroub and Dr Khalid al Mazini from Gulf Studies Centre at Qatar University alongside with Dr Saif al Maskari, Dr Mohammed al Araimi, Hatem al Taie and Dr Anwar al Rowas from the Sultanate.
