MUSCAT: Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) said that Oman oil price for October delivery reached $74.59. The DME statement said that the price of Oman oil on Wednesday declined 61 cents from the price of Tuesday, which was $75.20. The average price of Oman oil for September delivery has stabilised at $73.17, thus 44 cents per barrel lower than August delivery. World oil prices extended gains on news of a fall in Iranian crude supplies as US sanctions deter buyers. Brent gained 0.6 per cent to $76.38 a barrel. US crude climbed 0.7 per cent to $69.00.
