Credit Oman continues efforts to promote Omani products

MUSCAT: The total volume of insured sales during the second quarter of 2018 amounted to RO 26,055,567, an increase of 9 per cent, compared to RO 23,864,274 at the same period in 2017, according to the statistics issued by the Export Credit Guarantee Agency of Oman (Credit Oman). The total value of insured exports amounted to RO 18,805,898. The total value of the declared local sales stood at RO 7,249,669. The value of approved credit ceilings for exports during the second quarter of 2018 hit RO 68,291,200, an increase of 54.6 per cent, compared to RO 44,159,200 of 2017. The share of credit ceilings for domestic sales within the Sultanate amounted to RO 25,812,500, compared to RO 20,666,500 in 2017, with an increase of 25 per cent. Credit Oman continues its efforts to promote Oman’s products through the insurance coverage it provides to its customers in order to promote their products at the domestic and global levels and to achieve profits without concern about non-payment buyers. — ONA
