MUSCAT: The National Commission for Family Affairs (NCFA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Shaikh Mohammed bin Said al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development. The Commission reviewed a presentation on electronic blackmail that the NCFA intends to publish in various social media networks, in addition to reviewing efforts of the child protection committees. The Commission also discussed a project on Murshid magazine, which is designed for children. It also discussed Communication and Integration Forum themed “Family Challenges in Bringing up Children, Promoting Values of Omani Identity,” scheduled to be held in April. The Commission also discussed psychological pressure facing the elderly in Omani families and its relation with some changes in the Governorate of Muscat. — ONA
