The Faculty of Applied Sciences at Nizwa organised a Ramadhan iftar for its staff recently. The event comprised several activities, beginning with iftar followed by Maghrib prayer.
Later, Ahmed bin Mohammed al Abri, a member of the general requirements department of the faculty, conducted cultural competitions. Dr Rashid al Hussaini, a retired faculty member, delivered a lecture in which he talked about teaching through poetry.
