MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police’s department of crime investigation team seized a truck containing large quantities of banned cigarettes to be imported into the Sultanate. As per a statement, the crime department seized a truck loaded with suspicious materials and coordinated with the local police of an interior region. The truck was loaded with 570 large boxes of banned cigarettes worth more than RO 140,000. The truck driver was arrested and the case file was referred to the prosecution.
