CEBI holds business model canvas workshop at MCBS

MUSCAT: The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation (CEBI) organised a workshop titled ‘Map Your Business Plan’ as part of the workshop series on Business Model Canvas for first year students (BDS-1) of Oman Dental College (ODC), at Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), Bausher, Muscat. The workshop commenced with a welcome note by Raihan Taqui Syed, Director of CEBI, and a brief address by Dr Ahmed al Namaany, Dean, and Dr Ana Stakic, Associate Dean of MCBS. The sessions on business model canvas and other activities were led and delivered by CEBI’s team members Eiman al Tuwejri and Samah al Sulaimi.

The aim of the workshop was to guide students in creating their business plan through business canvas. The business model canvas was explained in detail and real examples were shared with students so as to understand the process of translating business ideas into business plans. Students were required to complete the business model canvas in the workshop session and present it to the audience. The workshop concluded with a fun activity and feedback session on the business ideas presented.
