CBFS celebrates 12th batch of MBA graduation

MUSCAT: College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS) celebrated the graduation of the 12th batch of the master degree in business administration (MBA), in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde, UK. Dr Mona bint Salim al Jardaniyah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Manpower for Technological Education and Vocational Training sponsored the ceremony, in the presence of Hamoud bin Sanjour al Zadjali, Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman. Dr Ahmed bin Mohsen al Ghassani, Dean of the College of Banking and Financial Studies, in his speech praised the graduates on getting the MBA degree, explaining that MBA graduates from University of Strathclyde are a group of good talent and will have a prominent role in the labour market. Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim al Balushi, Chairman of the Board of directors of the College and Deputy Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman said CBFS is a strategic partner in supporting Omanisation policies in the banking and financial sector in the Sultanate. — ONA
