BreakingNews: 25,000 new jobs for Omanis from December

The Council of Ministers said 25,000 jobs will be offered for Omanis in both public and private institutions during the first phase, which will begin from December.  The cabinet approves the executive plans that will be implemented to create the appropriate conditions that will enable the government to continue absorb more job seekers according to plans and programmes, aimed at achieving this objective.

“As part of  His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s keenness to nurture Omani youth and develop their abilities and benefit from their potential to  contribute effectively to the comprehensive development process that the country is experiencing in this glorious era,  the Council of Ministers in a statement affirmed that it is in the process of carrying out all the steps develop plans and programs to create appropriate employment opportunities for the national workforce .

The cabinet strongly appreciates the citizen’s understanding of the current challenges and calls on all private institutions to carry out initiatives as per their national responsibility of offering an ideal and attractive working environment for Omanis. The cabinet asserted that Omanisation should be one of the priorities when implementing projects and conducting programmes. Actions will be taken against that the companies that do not cooperate with these initiatives, it said.
