Bombay Blues win Danube Ramadhan title

Muscat: Bombay Blues clinched the Danube Ramadhan tennis ball cricket title beating Qurum Stars by six wickets in the final.


Ghani al Balushi, senior board member of Al Hail CT, presided over the occasion as the chief guest, were also presented for the award ceremony.


The tournament was organised by Al Hail Cricket Team.


Firoz of Bombay Blues was declared man of the match in the final and took three wickets while Harish of Qurum Star was declared as man of the tournament.


Firoz of Bombay Blues was adjudged as the best bowler of the tournament while Asif of Bombay Blues was declared as best batsman in the tournament and the most sixes awarded in the final match was won by Asif of Bombay Blues.


The following teams participated in the tournament (Smile Striker, OCT Al Hail, Aghah Xl, Dolphin Xl, Landmark Group, Qurum Star, Abeer Eleven, Fahad LC, Bombay Blues, Design Engineering Group 1, Design Engineering Group 2, Yorkshire, Khalili Soulmates and OCT AMERAT) the tournament played on knock out basis.


The organisers thanked Tamin Ansari, Country Manager, Danube for his support to cricket in the country. He is also cricketer and currently playing cricket in Dubai for various clubs as well as in Oman.


The organisers thanked the main sponsor Danube Oman, for their valuable support in successfully completing the tournament.
