MUSCAT: Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be’ah) will take part in the first Schoollex exhibition from today. The three-day event will take place at Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and concludes on April 5. The exhibition is organised by the Ministry of Education.
be’ah‘s participation comes as part of the company efforts to educate and increase awareness about waste management and the importance of instilling environmentally friendly waste management behaviour from an early age.
The exhibition will feature a customized corner for be’ah where school children age five-ten years old will get a chance to learn about waste management and recycling concepts and practice. The activities at the exhibition are part of be’ah’ s community outreach programme which targets the younger generation as a key demographic in the quest to conserve the environment of our beautiful Oman. be’ah has been conducting awareness campaigns in schools across the sultanate through its community outreach initiative in collaboration with Ministry of Education. The campaigns objective is to educate and change the social behaviors regarding lettering and waste management practice.
