The deliberations of the 4th Arab Economic Summit, hosted by Lebanon, began in the capital Beirut on Sunday. The Sultanate’s delegation to the summit is led by His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan. The summit discusses several files, mostly economic, including the Arab free trade zone, Arab food security and strategies for sustainable energy. — ONA
