MUSCAT: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, received at the General Diwan of the ministry on Thursday Dr Mohammed bin Ali Koman, Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, who is currently visiting the Sultanate. The two sides reviewed a range of issues of concern to the Arab joint security work.
The visit of Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council to the Sultanate comes within the framework of his consultative tour to several Arab countries in preparation for the 35th session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council. The meeting was attended by Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin bin Salim al Shraiqi, Inspector-General of Police and Customs, also received in his office Dr Mohammed bin Ali Koman. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed means of cooperation between the Royal Oman Police and the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. — ONA
