MUSCAT: Indian School Darsait organised its 24th Annual Day Celebrations at Le Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel recently. The Chief Guest Her Highness Dr Shariffa Khalid al Said, Educational Expert, Ministry of Education, inaugurated the event. Present on the occasion were Wilson V George, Chairman, Board of Directors (BoD), Indian Schools in Oman; Ajayan Poyyara, president and members of School Management Committee, principal, administrators, staff, parents, students and eminent members from the community.
Dr Sridevi P Thashnath, Principal, presented the annual report highlighting the achievements and accomplishments of the school for the academic year 2016- 17. SMC president expressed gratitude towards the parents for their support in smooth running of the school. The Chief Guest urged the students to face the challenges of life with courage and determination which would eventually lead them to success.
Teachers and students were honoured for their performances on the occasion, while school students presented many entertainment programmes to mark the occasion.
