By Sports Reporter — MUSCAT: Jan. 18 - Algeria stormed to the top of Group B with a second win against Iran in the second CISM World Cup football championship at the Seeb Sports Stadium on Wednesday. The Algerian forwards were upto the task from the kick off and they struck in the 27th minute when Hamia Mohamed Amine found the target. Ferhani Houari made it 2-0 for Algeria in the 36th minute. Hamia Mohamed Amine netted his second goal in the 42nd minute to make it 3-0 cushion for Algeria. Iran, taken aback by the early goals, came back into the match with a goal just before the half-time whistle. Ali Gholam Rezapur made no mistake from a penalty kick. Algeria returned to boost their defence in the second half as Iran failed to make a breakthrough though they had played with more purpose.
