MUSCAT: The Organising Committee of the Omani Products Exhibition “OPEX 2017” held a meeting at Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) premises on Monday to discuss the organisational efforts of the upcoming edition of the exhibition in Algeria from October 9 to 12. Several Omani exporting companies from different sectors will take part in the exhibition.
The committee reviewed a range of topics related to the final preparations for organising the exhibition, in terms of involved companies and products, in order to deliver Omani products to other markets, opening new doors to them and acquainting them with the promising opportunities for their products in the Algerian market.
The Omani products exhibition is organised annually for the seventh time in a row since it was first launched in 2013 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a move to boost Omani non-oil exports and open new markets for competition. — ONA
