MUSCAT: A’lamaliktisaad magazine will honour tomorrow the best Omani performing companies in the fiscal year 2017 in light of the results of the annual survey carried out by the magazine, specialised in economic affairs. The honouring ceremony, to be held under the patronage of Dr Rasheed bin al Safi al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board, targets joint stock companies listed on Muscat Securities Market (MSM), in cooperation with an expert house specialising in the analysis of financial statements. In a special ceremony, the magazine will honour 15 winning companies out of 65 surveyed companies, divided into three sectors namely the large capital firms sector, the medium capital firms and the small capital firms.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a number of leading figures in the fields of innovation, technology, SMEs development, entrepreneurship and corporate leadership will be honoured, as well as handing over the CEO of the Year Award, the Young Entrepreneur Award and Lifetime Achievement Award. The annual initiative launched by the magazine about eight years ago aims to improve the performance of joint stock companies and enhance their competitiveness. — ONA
