Muscat, May 9 - Al Suwaiq will be looking to add another three points to their kitty as they march towards a likely Omantel League title when they face Muscat in the 20th week of the league at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex. Leaders Al Suwaiq will be hoping to regain the Omantel League crown after their last victory in the 2012-2013 season. Meanwhile, in other matches, Al Nahdha travel to Salalah to face Dhofar at the Salalah Youth Complex while Mirbat take on Al Shabab at the same venue. The North Al Batinah derby will be between Saham and Suhar at Sohar Sports Complex while HM Cup champion Al Nasr will clash with Al Salam at the same complex.  Al Oruba will host Al Mudhaibi at Sur Sports Complex while Fanja will take on Oman club at Seeb stadium.

The competitions in the mid-table of the league is quite intense as the gap between sixth placed Al Oruba (26 points) and the last positioned Oman Club (21 points) is five points only. Therefore, more than ten clubs are in the relegation zone. The new head coach of Al Oruba club, Mohammed Khamis al Oraimi, stated that the team is ready for the match against al Mudhaibi. “We are not suffering from any injury. All our players are in the right position to register a win. We have the key players in the squad and I am confident to score a good result in the match,” Al Oraimi added. “We closed the chapter of our last loss against Mirbat. All players goal is to prevent relegation. We understood that our task is difficult but we will work hard to record a good result,” Anwar al Habsi, head coach of Al Mudhaibi, said.
