Last week, Al Seeb thrashed strugglers Musannah 4-0 while Mirbat revived their hopes when they edged Nizwa 2-1. The first leg between them ended 1-1 in week five.

Al Salam (12 points), who came back with an important point from Al Mudhaibi last week will be in an open way looking to beat Musannah, but will have to wait for (Al Seeb and Mirbat) game to secure promotion. If Al Salam win and Mirbat beat Al Seeb, the second promotion card will go for Al Salam as they are better in head-to-head games.
