MUSCAT: Al Nasr were crowned for the seventh time in its history with the title of His Majesty’s hockey championship 2017 with a 3-0 victory over Seeb in the final.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, and attended by Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, a number of ministers, under-secretaries and chairmen of sports
associations.
After the end of the match, which was dominated by Al Nasr, the chief guest crowned the top three clubs.
Al Nasr won the title, followed by Seeb and Ahli Sidab came in third place.
He also honoured the referee team for the final, and the distinguished players in the tournament.
