The Committee reviewed the report issued by the Economist on the Global Indicator of Food Security 2017, where the Sultanate was ranked at advanced levels. It was ranked 28th in the world out of 113 countries that were included in the survey despite the decline of the ranking of the Sultanate from the 26th place in 2016. The Committee discussed the comprehensive insurance policy for boats, ships, yachts and productive farms.
