Accident claims 2 lives in Haima

By Kabeer Yousuf — MUSCAT: Feb 15 - Two expatriates lost their lives and 3 injured when their car overturned and went out of control in Haima in the wee hours on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Mohammed Naushad from the south Indian state of Kerala and Abdul Wahab from Bangladesh. The Royal Oman Police sources in Haima said that the car in which they were travelling from Muscat to Nimr area might have had a tyre burst and the driver lost control of the car which resulted in the tragic death of the two. Naushad, who had been living in Oman for more than a decade, was running a scrap material company in Ghala Industrial Area while the Bangladeshis worked for him. The two bodies are kept in Sultan Qaboos Hospital morgue in Salalah which will be sent home after the necessary legal procedures were followed by.
