MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry indicated that the number of applications for national and international trademarks, patents and copyright reached 8,095 in the first nine months of 2018. The ministry, represented by the Intellectual Property Department, said among these were 7,064 national and international trademarks applications, 307 applications for patents and 145 applications for copyright. — ONA
