By Staff Reporter — MUSCAT: Jan 3: The consumer protection inspectors have seized over 390 packs of cheese from one of the malls in Nizwa. One of the consumers had reported that the cheese products had lost his shape and colour. Lab reports confirmed that confirmed swelling in cheese due to the presence of bacteria. Meanwhile, a trail court has fined a shop owner for RO10,000 for selling expired goods. It also ordered the goods to be confiscated and destroyed. As per details available, expatriates workers were caught red-handed while expiry dates on 835 packs of make-up products, soaps and toiletries.
