A total of 342 km of single-lane and multi-lane roads as well as tunnels and bridges will be completed during the current year including the remaining 132 km of Al Batinah Expressway, the Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced. The 14-km Al Rustaq mountain road, the remaining 17 km of the Sinaw-Mahout-Al Duqm road and the second phase of Al Sharqiyah Expressway (77 km), will also be completed this year.
