NIZWA, May 16 – The Faculty of Applied Sciences in Nizwa honoured 132 outstanding students and members of the Student Advisory Council under the auspices of Dr Said bin Khalaf al Nabhani, Dean of the College, in the presence of Dr Sharifa bint Abdullah al Mahrouqi, Assistant Dean for Academic Support. Thuraya al Batashi, on behalf of the honouring students, spoke about the importance of engaging in student activities, stressing its positive role in the development and refinement of skills. She thanked the efforts of the faculty deanship and all the centres who facilitate resources for the success of activities for the academic year. A visual presentation about the student activities for the year was presented by the media group. Dr Said al Nabhani honoured the outstanding students for the current academic year, in recognition of their efforts for the year. He said the student activities are part of the educational process which helps refine the skills and abilities of students in different aspects.
